Before Tomorrow

Minister Joseph Shepherd

Here recently, the Lord has been speaking to us about getting ourselves prepared for the day that Yeshua is set to return. In doing so, we are to continue to watch, pray, and occupy this domain we are currently living within. We are to use the power that the Father gives us and use it for the edification of his body; not to hoard for ourselves. As we know, we are to do everything unto the Father. Throughout several scriptures, we are instructed to be ready and available before the Lord because no man knows of the return of the King. In all honesty, the question “am I doing the best I can to prepare myself for that day?” came across my mind. As we have been going over the tribulation period in GPRC, you can sense the urgency, as the persecution of the church is coming near. It has certainly been something to me that has been sticking out and replaying over and over again in my head. To see a world mock and blame God for their own wrongdoings while being lifted up in pride when the Father allows them to go through something seems backwards.

And take heed to yourselves, lest at any time your hearts be overcharged with surfeiting, and drunkenness, and cares of this life, and so that day come upon you unawares.

35 For as a snare shall it come on all them that dwell on the face of the whole earth.

36 Watch ye therefore, and pray always, that ye may be accounted worthy to escape all these things that shall come to pass, and to stand before the Son of man.

Luke 21 34-36

I pray that we as true believers never get to a point that we waver between what feels right and what is actually righteous; regardless of what the Devil may try to do. We are to stand firm and rest in him so that the cares of this life don’t come to overtake us. So as we live in this moment, whenever you may be reading this, guard your heart to allow the Father to be within you. Continue to have a spirit of peace in the midst of chaos that may be going on around us. As we can see, the times are getting worse, and I pray that the Saints be guarded and protected by the Blood of Yeshua. I thank the Father for each and every one of you that has taken time out of your day to read this post. I pray that a greater measure of grace be applied to all of us so that we are able to move freely while doing the Lord’s work. Amen.
