Fruit

Minister Joseph Shepherd

‘For ye were sometimes darkness, but now are ye light in the Lord: walk as children of light. 9 (For the fruit of the Spirit is in all goodness and righteousness and truth;) 10Proving what is acceptable unto the Lord. 11. And have no fellowship with the unfruitful works of darkness, but rather reprove them’
Ephesians 5:8-11

Today, the Lord placed upon my heart to share what has been marinating in my spirit recently. It was a self-check and as well as a reminder to have our hearts and minds focused on the Father. We are to constantly check ourselves by Elohim to ensure that we have no ulterior motives. Grace is that sweetness to our fruit that gives it a unique taste. When we try to add any other ingredients to the fruit that we produce, we are then focused on self-gratification and overstepping the Father. All of our actions are to be a representation of him!

Wow, it is beautifully written in John 15:14-17 on how we are to simply just love one another. The spiritual DNA of love, peace, and joy are mixed within your fruit. These simple ingredients to the fruit we are to obtain are often mixed due to those wanting to taint their DNA. Bitterness, hatred, haughtiness, and even fear are just quick examples of ways our fruits can become spoiled. We as saints are called and ordained by Elohim God to keep our fruits untainted! Having no agenda or evil plan to manipulate those that we encounter.

14 Ye are my friends, if ye do whatsoever I command you. 15 Henceforth I call you not servants; for the servant knoweth not what his lord doeth: but I have called you friends; for all things that I have heard of my Father I have made known unto you. 16 Ye have not chosen me, but I have chosen you, and ordained you, that ye should go and bring forth fruit, and that your fruit should remain: that whatsoever ye shall ask of the Father in my name, he may give it you. 17 These things I command you, that ye love one another.

John 15:14-17

We must not forget either that we are to continue to remain in holiness. There are times in our lives when the weather may get too bad (we endure a tough situation) or it seems like our tree or roots are not getting enough sunshine and rain (not connected and reading our word like we are supposed to). Weathering is natural for a lot of natural resources that we need to survive. So, there are times that we as believers have to endure storms. In the end, our result is that the fruits of our tree are those that are pure. Fruits that are without blemish, fresh and ripe, just like Yeshua provided to us.
