Reflecting on His Faithfulness

Min. Misti Sawyer

As I reflect over the many trials I’ve faced in my life, I’m reminded of just how amazing our Father truly is. It is reflecting on all that the Father has already done in my life that helps me to hold on and have faith as my family faces yet another trial.  I’m reminded that my life is not my own and that our Father’s wisdom is far greater than our understanding.  I’m reminded that being consecrated to Him means surrendering my will to His plan and purpose for me.  I am also encouraged knowing that it is through these trials that the Father is able to birth the ministry He has placed inside of me.  The things I’ve faced in my life, and even now, most certainly are not easy. Nevertheless, I’ve determined that if the Father is able to use my life to lead even one person to Yeshua/Jesus or to help and encourage someone, then my temporary pain is not in vain.  The Father has never left us and I know He never will as His Word promises.  There have been many times that the situations we have faced have seemed impossible, and yet the Father worked everything out in a way that only He can. In those situations, He was truly glorified.  Even now, though I am constantly battling the fear the enemy wants to bring up in me, I look forward to watching the Father be glorified in this situation.  He is truly the master at turning even the most painful situations into beautiful testaments of His love.

I pray that no matter what you are facing today, that you know beyond a shadow of a doubt just how much the Father loves you. He sees you right where you are.  We don’t always understand why some things come, but our Father promises that all things work together for the good of those who love Him and are called according to His purpose.  Hold on to faith and every promise in His word, because as His children we are heirs to those very promises. I assure you, He is faithful.  I pray for peace and strength for everyone who reads this.  Have the courage to stand on the Father’s word because He won’t allow His children to be put to shame.

Romans 8:28

28 And we know that all things work together for good to them that love God, to them who are the called according to his purpose.

Romans 10:11 amplified classic

11 The Scripture says, No man who believes in Him [who adheres to, relies on, and trusts in Him] will [ever] be put to shame or be disappointed.
