Charge!

Minister Joseph Shepherd

And God blessed them, and God said unto them, Be fruitful, and multiply, and replenish the earth, and subdue it: and have dominion over the fish of the sea, and over the fowl of the air, and over every living thing that moveth upon the earth.

Genesis 1:28

Happy New Year to you all! New year to start fresh, make a change, or pick up something you put down. This can be on many different levels of both spiritual and carnal. A few examples are lost passions, reading your word, praying/fasting, or simply spending more time communicating with your family. For all of these things, we are to continue to pray and ask the Father what to do in this specific area. Many things, good and bad, happened last year. This year I charge you to make a change.

Change, even if slowly, what you eat if it isn’t productive to your body. Change your attitude towards your job because being bitter doesn’t help. Change your talk, if your walk doesn’t appropriately match. Whatever it may be, find it and improve on it. God has given us great grace to accomplish these things, yet, we choose to wallow in the negative. We should pray, each and every day, that Holy Spirit would lead us towards the things we need to keep moving.

As every man hath received the gift, even so, minister the same one to another, as good stewards of the manifold grace of God. If any man speaks, let him speak as the oracles of God; if any man minister, let him do it as of the ability which God giveth: that God in all things may be glorified through Jesus Christ, to whom be praise and dominion forever and ever. Amen.

1 Peter 4: 10-11

My charge to you is to improve in that which you lacked in 2020 and soar in 2021. One thing I know that has not changed is our unwavering faith. I challenge us all to continue to seek the Father for guidance/direction for our every move. I urge you all, along with myself, to allow grace to go before us to fulfill our needs and wants. Our lights shall continue to shine brightly wherever it meets darkness. We are called to be obedient while reaching souls that are around us. Strive to continue in making changes for the better. Happy 2021!
